This has by far been the one of the strangest Summers in recent history. Different rules changing often, not being able to meet our families that live abroad, not being able to go on holidays and so much more. It has been a very hard 2020 and as winter is around the corner we hope that together we will manage to see some positive news at some point during the last few months.
Since our reopening in July we have been working with very small teams both in Seaton and Axminster. We adapted to the changes, restrictions and climate of this strange and difficult time. Working with smaller teams and having a busy August with the Eat Out to Help Out scheme has been really hard for all of us. So in order for everyone to have a much needed break we have agreed to close the restaurants for a short period to make sure that everyone can have a well deserved rest. We will be closed on the following dates: between the 4th and the 20th October 2020, (both dates included) in Axminster & between the 11th and the 19th October 2020, (both dates included) in Seaton. This will not come as a surprise to anyone that visits us regularly. It is the time where we (Ray and Darren) usually go on our holiday. This year we may not be able to but we will at least be able to sit back in front of the fire, enjoy time with our families and rest our feet after all the long hours of the Summer. This time will also give us the opportunity to perform our usual deep clean of the restaurants and to do any necessary maintenance and upgrades required. All these things are always planned to be done after Summer and are booked year after year in advance. As always we thank you for your understanding, your patience, your loyalty and your support especially during this unprecedented time. We are grateful for each and every one of you who steps through our doors. We will be looking forward to see you all again after our break. Darren & Ray Comments are closed.
